The first fishing week on the Belousiha River. We spent it together with Tatyana, Denis, Vladislav, two Alexanders (1 fisherman, 1 cameraman), Jan and his wife Agatha.
The weather was constantly changing, the beginning was sunny, but by the end of the week we forgot about summer. The temperature dropped to + 3 degrees, rains, northerly winds. The temperature in the Belousiha River is 7-9 degrees. The level fell by 25 cm.
The beginning of the week was spent in search of fresh salmon, but were only the capture of grayling, brown trout and kelts. Finally, on the third day, the first Atlantic salmon of this season was caught. It happened on the First Glinka - Denis opened a personal account of his Atlantics!!! This catch cheered everyone up and instilled optimism. And the next salmon did not have to look for a long time. There were catches on the pools of Birch, Second Glinka, Obkom and Canyon. The average weight of the fish is 5-6 kg.
Agatha distinguished herself, on Glinka she confidently landed nice salmon, pecking at the fly Snaelda. Weights showed 10.4 kg. The fight lasted more than 15 minutes. Under the strict guidance of the guide Paul, Agatha brought the fish into a landing net.
A kind and cheerful atmosphere reigned in the canteen - a great company gathered! We are definitely waiting for everyone next season! And we continue to fish!
