The Belousiha river lodge received guests from the two Russian cities Moscow and Saratov. The temperature did not fall below 11 degrees and did not rise above 16. The water level in the river continued to fall, and fell well below the average mark. In 6 days the water has fallen by a further 4 cm. The wind blew mostly from the south, but in the last two days changed their direction to a cooler Northerly airstream. The water temperature in the river Belousiha fell, fell from 18 to 15. With the guests approval, the camp returned to day work.
The first day we explored the chain of lakes. These crystal clear waters surrendered a dozen medium-sized trout, dark fish, everyone battling hard.
The second day the Belousiha showed it had benefited from the rest. On the "Swedish table", after three fish lost, Dmitry scored with a 52cm Grilse. On Beat 4, Alexander, Alex and Igor experienced manic sport with pink salmon – 12 fish landed, and several lost.
On the third day we split. Four people went to fish in the river Belousiha, eight went to the River Voronya. On Belousiha Igor fishing “Glinka" on a “Willigun”, landed a grilse of 52cm. On the Voronya, no less than four big salmon were lost.
The fourth day, all anglers elected to fish the Voronya. As a result, three salmon: 60, 62 and 77cm were landed, all on Cascades. Igor, Vitaly and Alexander the lucky anglers. A further three salmon were lost.
The fifth day, on the river Belousiha was caught two salmon: 52 cm to Vladimir fishing in the pool "Glinka", and a fish of 47cm on the "Canyon" to Alexei. A further two fish were lost on the pool "Three steps".
The sixth day was the most productive fishing: 2 fish were landed on the "Three steps" Alexey and Alexander, 52, and 79 cm trick by flies Silver Stoat and Cascade.. And after the guests had left, guide Robin headed out for some rod hours, landing fish in a three hour evening session from "Aquarium" where two salmon 52 and 57 cm inhaled his “Cascade” and a 55cm fish from "Glinka."
Most anglers this week caught his first Atlantic and Pacific salmon. Alex was particularly pleased that for the first time he hooked an Atlantic salmon, and became the hero of the week, landing the biggest fish of the week, a 79 cm salmon.
